Most Christians use this to discriminate against gay people they pick and choose what they want out of the bible to get what they personally want. I do not discriminate against gay people and don't think anyone should because of Matthew 7.
“Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."
I am not God I have no right to judge or hold someone's sins against them. I have no right to punish someone by not letting them get married because I believe it's a sin. Only God has that right.

I hear a lot of Christians say, "I am against gay marriage, because I think homosexuality is a sin. But I still have gay friends," or "I believe that marriage is between a man and woman, but that doesn't mean I hate gay people. Hate the sin, love the sinner."
Precious Sister in Christ, I understand your heart, you want to live in peace with all men. But please read Romans chapter 1 slowly giving special attention to verse 32. Its wrong because God says its wrong. What I think about it doesn't matter. Gods Word is our compass. Jesus in Matthew 19 verses 4 and 5 gave the Fathers Design. Marriage is very precious in His Eyes. We should be in prayer for those in this deception being deceived by the enemy.It seems so strange to me, how we can believe something is right, too the very core of our being, being fully convinced by the enemy, we get full of pride and proclaim in our ignorance fully believing it as truth .Then when HIS WORD and by HIS SPIRIT our eyes are opened. And we are humbled by the ONE who loves us so well. Speaking here from my own experience:). I love Your heart for women, your desire to teach them to be the women Jesus desires. May His Spirit continue to lead you into all TRUTH.
