Father,
As our minds attempt to comprehend the unthinkable,
we grasp for straws of understanding.
As our hearts ache with sorrow and heaviness,
we droop from the weight of burdens.
As our spirits argue with the dark meaningless of the world,
we beg for the light only You can shed.
And as our souls search for answers,
we reach for your Divine hand of healing and comfort through the peace only You can provide.
