Best Friend
In the sixth grade my best friend was Brittany. We met in the fifth grade on the first day of school I was saving a seat for my other friend Abby but Brittney sat in the seat I was saving for her. I hated her for about a week but it turned out to be okay because we became friends quickly. We did everything together she came over to my house almost every weekend. We even memorized each other’s house phone numbers. Things started to seem strange, now at the time I didn’t notice until my mom started questioning me. Brittany and I had been friends for a about a year we hung out every weekend but I had never been to her house. Also, every time we did hang out my mom had to pick Brittany up from her house. My mom started questioning me about Brittany and her parents. My mom would always say “Does she even have parents?” The more I thought about it I realize that I have never even seen her parents and she never talked about them. So one day I asked her “Why don’t we ever hang out at your house?” She made up all these reasons why but it made me upset I didn’t think any of her reasons where valid. We ended up getting in a huge fight and not talking for two weeks.
Finally two weeks later Brittany called me and I was so excited I missed my best friend. We apologized and Brittany invited me to her house that upcoming weekend. I was so thrilled I packed my bag to spend the night two days early. Finally after all this time of being friends the day arrived that I got to go to Brittany’s house. My mom drop me off it was a beautiful sunny day. I met Brittany’s mom and she was really nice I could not understand why she did not want me to come over. I could not help but noticed that Brittany did not have a dad I thought her parents might have recently got divorce and she was embarrassed about it but it made me upset that she did not tell me she knew my parents were not together and that I lived with my step dad and mom. I quickly forgot about it. We had so much fun we played video games and redid our profiles on Myspace. We got hungry and decide to make ramen noodles. Next thing I knew Brittany’s moms boyfriend came stumbling in. He started yelling but you could not understand him because he was so drunk. He screamed at us for making ramen noodles. I was so scared I have never had someone else parent yell at me before. We went to Brittany’s room and hid. It took him twenty minutes to figure out that we had left the room. Once he realized he came charging to the room. He was in a full on rage he lock us in the closet for eight hours. Finally Brittany’s mom let us out when he left. I was so scared for my friend for her mom that was so friendly and for her siblings. I finally realized the reason it to so long for me to be able to go over to her house. My mom came and pick me up, as soon as I got in the car I told her what had happen she was mortified at what had happen. When we got home she called social services right away but they did nothing because they were financially stable and saw no reason to intervene. Brittany and I remained friends although I never went to her house again. She told me more about the abuse she had suffered.

A Spiritual Women
A spiritual woman has love in her heart for the Lord. A spiritual wife shares this love with her husband. A Godly woman will have all of the spiritual character traits to love, please, and take care her husband. The spiritual husband will do the same for his wife. It is only this type of marriage that God joins the two together to become on flesh.

Humility (Bible Study)
What is the definition of humility?
Modest opinion or estimate of one's own importance, rank, etc.
“Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.” Philippians 2:3
God promises some great blessings to those who are humble:
- A humble person receives God’s favor Proverbs 3:34
- A humble person finds wisdom Proverbs 11:2
- A humble person finds riches, honor, and life Proverbs 22:4
- A humble person will be exalted by God 1 Peter 5:6
- A humble person has the ability to get along with others 1 Samuel 25
Yet no one is born with humility, to developed humility we need God’s word and Spirit to work in our lives.
Questions:
What other character traits go together with humility?
When we recognize our need for God’s grace and mercy, what three characteristics become evident in us?

Gods love cant be explained only experienced.
Gods love can't be explained only experienced.
One time I was cornered. I was caught off guard one time. I tried to explain my religion and God. I forgot to say the right things but seeing this is really something. Yes, I cant quite verbalize everything about God and how He changed me and how He is my Father now and all but it can be made through experience. Lots of prayers. Lots and lots for them to experience too, the awesome love of God.

Patience in Payer
If you are requesting something of God and you are expecting Him to answer immediately, chances are you’re going to be disappointed. Certainly God has answered prayers instantaneously, sometimes even before they were asked, but more often than not, God takes His time; He works on a different timetable than ours. His timing is perfect so it may take years and years and years for Him to answer your prayer.
"But God"
My absolute favorite phrase is ‘but God’.
I’m so weary, but God will give me strength.
I’m lonely, but God will be my friend.
I’m in pain, but God will comfort me.
I’m broken, but God will put the pieces together.
Even one of my favorite verses:
Man looks on outer appearances, but God looks at the heart.
Learning
I’m slowly re-learning to let go and let God.
This constant wanting for an “other half” to pour my love into is basically blindness. And teenage hormones, I guess. But really, that love can be redirected into so many other places that are, at the moment, much more important, namely the Father’s work.
Here’s to refocusing, refreshing, and renewing.

John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 ❤️

Does God Love Me?
Yes! GOD LOVES YOU! He loves everyone no matter what! God loves unconditionally. He loves you so much that He sent His Son to die on the cross for you, that you might have everlasting life. His love is not based on performance. Christ loves you so much that while you were yet a sinner, He died for you. Think of it! God loves you as much as He loves His only begotten Son, the Lord Jesus. What a staggering, overwhelming truth to comprehend! You need have no fear of someone who loves you perfectly. You need never be reluctant to trust God with your entire life for He truly loves you. And the almost unbelievable part of it is that He loves you even when you are disobedient.

Muslims
Why you should love Muslims
God loves Muslims!
Muslims are loved by God in the same way that He loves all people. Like all humans, Muslims are created in the image of God (Genesis 1:26-27). Like all humans, Muslims sin and fall short of God's glory (Romans 3:23). Like all humans, God loved them so much that He sent His son, so that those who believe in Jesus will have eternal life (John 3:16).
God calls Muslims to Himself!
God designed all of us to seek after Him. That includes Muslims. "From one man, He made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth", …God did this so men would seek Him and perhaps reach out to Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us. For in him we live and move and have our being (Acts 17:24-31, especially 26,30)." Like you and I, God has placed "eternity in their hearts (Ecclesiastes 3:11)."
The only good Muslims … are most Muslims.
The media tends to picture Muslims as wild-eyed terrorists who want to bomb America and kill all Christians. The overwhelming majority of Muslims are peace-loving, hospitable people.
Muslims are people, too!
Most Muslims are concerned about the same things as you and I. They want to raise their children well, they are concerned about rising crime and pornography, and work hard to pay their bills and survive. Like us, most Muslims decry human suffering and violence between peoples. Many Muslims yearn for peace, friendship, and a happy life. We share the same concerns and needs.
God is at work among Muslims!
Many Muslims are sensitive to God and spiritual things. Because they fear God and are aware of spiritual reality, Muslims often speak of how God appeared to them through dreams and visions, just like He did to the God-fearer Cornelius (Acts 10:1-8). Stories abound of healings because of God's power through Jesus. An increasing number of Muslims are hungry to know about God's dramatic work through Jesus.
Because we are spiritually related.
Many Muslims look to 'Ibrahim (Abraham) as "our forefather (Romans 4:1)." Since those who follow Jesus call Abraham "the father of all who believe (Romans 4:11)," that makes us 'cousins'! Like us, Muslims believe in one true God, the Creator of all peoples.
Because they value our Holy Book and Jesus.
The Q'uran specifically commends the Torat (books of the Law, the first five books of the Bible); the Zibur (the Psalms, or wisdom literature); and the injil (the Gospels). Jesus was sent by God to earth; Jesus healed many during his ministry; and he is returning to judge the living and the dead.
Because they have something to teach us.
Muslims take the spiritual world very seriously and generally are more open to discuss spiritual issues. They have a very high respect for God and His power. Muslims place a high value on community and loyalty. Hospitality is very important to them. These are qualities that most westerners appreciate in their Muslim friends.
God made promises to their ancestors.
Many Muslims look to 'Ibrahim (Abraham) as their descendant through his first son, Ishmael. God made this promise to Ibrahim: "As for Ishmael, I have heard you; behold, I will bless him, and I will make him fruitful, and I will multiply him. He shall become the father of twelve princes, and I will make him a great nation (Genesis 17:20)." God fulfilled this promise, for there are over one billion Muslims in the world today!
Because God promised that Muslims who follow Jesus will be part of the multitudes who are gathered about the Throne of God. (They Follow Him Do Not Believe Me Ask A Muslim)
When God gathers all His people at the end of time, there will be representatives from every people group on the earth, "from every nation and tribe and people and language, standing before the Throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, …crying out in a loud voice, 'Salvation to our God who sits on the throne… (Revelation 7:9,10)!"
What Christians should Obviously Learn from Muslims
There are also many things we Christians already know we can and should learn from Muslims, or be reminded of by Muslims. These are things which we already believe, though we do not practice them very well; for instance:
Faithfulness in prayer, fasting and almsgiving
The sacredness of the family and children and hospitality
The absoluteness of moral laws and of the demand to be just and charitable
The absoluteness of God and the need for absolute submission, surrender and obedience ("islam") to him
Half of you will not even read the whole thing before you post a mean comment & If you are Muslim correct me if I am wrong

Free will
There is a paradox, not a contradiction, between free will and God’s sovereignty / plan for our lives. We certainly won’t fully understand it in this life because it really is such a complex issue. It helps me to think of it metaphorically as father and son. A father can have a plan for his son’s life, but his son can choose to ignore it. Likewise, God wants us all to come to know him and realize his love and grace but the “operative” phrase there is come to. For a someone to believe in God / come to that conclusion, he requires reason and, hence, free will. A child does have free will, but a good father exercises control over the child. He allows the child to mature and make choices. He allows his child to learn from mistakes and failures. In addition, a good father also knows enough to not allow the child to endanger himself or others. He may let his toddler touch a hot oven so he learns not to get burnt but that doesn’t mean he’ll let his child stick his hand into a raging flame to learn the very same lesson. God treats his children the same way. He has a perfect will and plan. He also has a permissive will, which allows man to learn the hard way.
Logically, God knowing what we are going to do does not mean that we can’t do something else. It means that God simply knows what we have chosen to do ahead of time. Our freedom is not restricted by God’s foreknowledge; our freedom is simply realized ahead of time by God. There is no logical reason to claim that if God knows what choices we are going to make that it means we are not free. It still means that the free choices we will make are free — they are just known ahead of time by God. If we choose something different, then that choice will have been eternally known by God. Furthermore, this knowledge by God does not alter our nature in that it does not change what we are — free to make choices. God’s knowledge is necessarily complete and exhaustive because that is His nature, to know all things. In fact, since He has eternally known what all our free choices will be, He has ordained history to come to the conclusion that He wishes including and incorporating our choices into His divine plan.

Philippians 1:21 (Bible Study)
“To live is Christ and to die is gain.”
Philippians 1:21
It becomes so easy to focus on the last section of this verse and contemplate just how amazing heaven will be. Yet, the importance of ‘to live is Christ’ cannot be overstated. Paul is saying that everything he has tried to be and everything he is, and everything he looked forward to being pointed to Christ. Paul’s singular aim was to bring glory to Jesus. Thats such a challenge to me. “To live is Christ” means that Christ is our focus, our goal, and our chief desire. Christ is the centre point of our mind, heart, body and soul. Everything that we do, we do for Christ’s glory.
He should be our life.
"And we know that all things work together for the good for those who love God, and are called according to His purpose." - Romans 8:28
This is absolutely one of my favorite verses of all time. It reminds me to keep hanging on, because no matter how ugly things may seem to be at the moment, it’ll all be better in His time. So just sit down, trust His plan, and wait. Rest assured, all things will be better! :)
Wait for the Man
"Wait for a man that won’t hesitate to remind you of Gods perfect love.
Wait for someone who will shamelessly be your partner in ministry and will help you grow as the daughter of a living God.
Wait for a man who knows perfectly your worth in Christ.
Wait for that man. He will have flaws but his dependence on God will bring the two of you through.
He may be imperfect, you may have fights, but those setbacks won’t ever make you let you go.
Wait for that man because God will direct him to you.”
- don’t actually know the author of this quote, but it is amazing
Message of the bible
The message of the bible is simple.
God is creator of all, sovereign and eternal, compassionate and full of love. His son, Jesus Christ, came to the world and laid down his life for the sins of all so that any who believed in him might live forever. His word is truth. And faith in him is the only hope for the world.
Don’t let things complicate this wonderful message of the gosp
