Faith

But someone will say, “You have faith and I have works.” Show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. James 2:18


Faith and works go hand and hand. As we receive God's amazing gift of faith, we can't help ourselves but respond with gratitude. it is then in our gratitude in which we do good works, loving our neighbor, so that more and more would come to know our Rescuer, Jesus Christ.


But an attitude of gratitude can diminish. This likely happens when we do not spend time in God's word daily, when we remove ourselves from Christian community and corporate worship, when we get sucked into a culture that ignores God or puts Him on the back burner of priorities.
